I LOVE the Balkans. I once shared a nice bottle of Moldovan wine and conversation one night with a Moldovan in Albania. Both were very good. Have you ever met anyone from this country? Weren’t they amazing, flattering and handsome all in the same package? This is a culture I would like to spend more time learning more about. Sign me up!

2. Australia

I’ve wanted to go here ever since I was a child after reading about it in my National Geographic magazines. But, it is far away and hence more expensive to get to. I want to go on safari but in the bush looking for kangaroos and koalas. I want to visit the opera and the beaches. I want to see the native people who inhabited this land. It is an entire continent and there is so much to see. I have been planning and researching a trip here for my entire life. I will need at least 3 months. It is one of the 2 continents I have not yet been to. But, I will make it.

3. South Korea

I know some people from here. I also have some wonderful students from this country. I studied Taekwondo for 12 years. I can speak a few words of Korean. I love to watch South Korean television shows. And, I love Korean food. The people, country, culture and technological advancement seem amazing. This is a "must see" country for me.

4. Antarctica

Doesn’t everyone want to go to Antarctica? I believe this probably is the most expensive place to visit in the world. It is far above my normal travel budget. I also want to make it to all 7 continents. Iceland was so amazing and otherworldly to me. I bet Antarctica would be even more so. I can’t wait to see and capture some amazing photography shots here. A trip to Antartica would be a once in lifetime experience for me.

5. Greenland

Greenland is supposed to be icy and Iceland is supposed to be green. Iceland was pretty cold in July and even colder in September. I’ll check it out first hand and see for myself. Iceland was an amazing place for me. I am sure Greenland will be more so but more remote. Next up, Greenland.

6. Madagascar

Madagascar has really unique biodiversity. 90% of its biodiversity is found no where else on earth. For someone who loves cultural interactions but also loves everything this planet has to offer, this country would be a must see for me. This would be such an educational place to be and study. It is perfect for a worldschooling family.

7. New Zealand

I met some really amazing people from this country when I lived in the Federated States of Micronesia. I’d like to learn more about the Maori people. Jacinta Ardern is a name you should know. New Zealand is a worldschooling hub for some good reasons.

8. Croatia

I also knew some nice Croatians when I lived in Micronesia. The men of this country have been flattering and handsome as well. All the photos that I’ve seen of this country and the shores are absolutely stunning. Yes, I’d like to spend a while in these beautiful photo scenes. Let’s go!

9. Hungary

This is another very photogenic country that I have been learning a lot about. I love a nice city. Budapest looks amazing. I have crossed paths with some Hungarians in my travels who were very hospitable. I bet you didn’t know that you were serving as a travel advertisement for possible tourists to your home country when you travel from place to place. You are!

10. Belarus

Once upon a time I dated a man from this country. Things didn’t work out. But, we ended on a good terms. I respect him and his country very much. I learned a good deal about this country through knowing him. It would be nice to experience the country first hand.

Have you been to any of these countries? How was your experience? Which countries are on your short list and why?
